This blog began as a collection of odd things that I was trying-out concerning the use of social media technology, in preparation to enrolling on a distance learning course in Online and Digital Education at the Open University.  I have also used the site as a place to undertake module activities in a place external to the OU systems.  And to record study reflections.

I’m an infrequent poster … due to other committments and also because I’m a slooowww writer.  Not in the two-finger typist sense – but because I usually feel the need to revise final outputs many times before releasing them.

On the same subject – the main benefit that I find in working on blog posts is the writing practice, and trying a different style.  Which, I hope, is a readable style.
